311 Leading with Influence: Reflecting on Your Career

8:00 AM - 8:45 AM Wednesday, November 17

Being a more effective influencer as well as an influential learner is a lifelong process that humans engage in as they work relationships out with others. In this session, you will work with others and notice the relationships, context, results, and approaches others use to influence while noticing your own ideas, including how to tell, sell, negotiate, enlist, facilitate, inquire, listen, attune, and disengage. You will document your thoughts and reflection in this highly interactive group activity, which is best experienced by being open to others. Learn to collaborate with others to build stronger relationships, get the results you want at work and in life, have strongly defined ideas, and drive action by planning on process, the people around you and yourself.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to reflect on your career as an influencer
  • Strategies for providing intentional structure for your own future growth
  • Why you need to treat influencing skills as an ongoing growth process and learn from others who share their influencing experiences
