102 How to Choose the Right ID Tools for Your Team

Keeping up with all the new tools available to instructional designers is tough, but deciding which tools are the best fit for you and your team is even tougher. How do you know which tools to evaluate? How do you evaluate them? How do you get buy-in? How do you make sure the tool is implemented correctly? 

In this session you'll learn the steps to locate, select,  and implement a new tool. You'll start by learning how to determine what problem you are trying to solve. You'll explore how to determine the capabilities that are required and those that are nice to have. You'll get tips and tricks on how to pitch your new tool to get buy-in. Finally, you’ll get tips and things to remember when you implement a new tool, including making sure you know the cost of customizations and how to roll out the tool to your team. You'll leave this session with an enhanced set of tools to help you locate and choose tools that help solve your business problems.
