107 Storytelling for Learning Leaders

7:00 AM - 7:45 AM Wednesday, July 21

What you've learned from your experiences continues to shape your life and influence your decisions. By sharing what you've learned, you enable others to gain insight into who you are and how you lead. But how do you create a compelling story out of a few memories and anecdotes?

In this session, you'll learn to mine your memories for experiences that represent meaningful lessons and identify how they can benefit others, as well as how to construct a story that will reveal how your experiences shaped you and inspire others to take action. We’ll explore the process of applying storytelling strategies to transform an experience into a lesson, then into a story that facilitates understanding, connection, and action. You'll also gain access to templates and strategies to help you make storytelling part of your leadership brand, while connecting with other leaders through meaningful conversation.
