Many organizations have taken the desktop eLearning paradigm and simply applied it to mobile technologies, but that does not take advantage of the uniqueness of the mobile platform. Furthermore, traditional eLearning templates do not always translate well in a mobile environment.

Storyline 2 is a very popular development tool that is quickly growing in use among traditional training organizations that are starting to develop mobile solutions for their customer base. In this session, you will explore how to build your own landscape- or portrait-style templates that work best on mobile devices. You will be able to design your own user interface to maximize the mobile real estate, and you will create slide masters, backgrounds, and custom buttons and icons for mobile use.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to change or remove the default player features in Storyline
  • How to design a user interface that maximizes mobile real estate
  • How to create slide masters and backgrounds that support mobile delivery
  • How to design custom buttons and icons for mobile use

Audience:
