Now in her 17th year at EDF Renewables, Heather Shimp is responsible for business optimization related to process improvement and employee engagement. In prior roles, she created consolidation and internal controls departments. She successfully established a learning and development segment for the operations and maintenance teams that focused on non-technical training. She recently collaborated with the LMS implementation team to design and implement the EDF Renewables' LMS. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in offshore wind related to Lean Six Sigma and McKinsey 7-S. Heather has a passion for renewable energy and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others.
