308 Tools for Hybrid Work: Transform Instructional Design Using Design Thinking

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PT Wednesday, October 26

Barbados AB

A 2022 HCM Outlook Study shows that at least two-thirds of organizations are challenged with redefining their culture and work environments. This means reimagining their employee and leadership development and also improving employee recruitment and reward. Learning is shifting from tactical to strategic in order to support organizational success while adapting to the current and future landscape. The whole organization needs to think differently, act differently, and become human-centric. Success requires leaders to rise from the comfort of "how we've always done it," apply new tools for engagement that enable L&D upskilling initiatives to focus on disparately located learners, demonstrate how each contributor is valued, and increase their engagement and feeling of belonging‚Äîall while transforming their skills to optimize business performance.

In this session, we will discuss the current and future landscape of instructional design as it relates to hybrid work environments. LXD adaptation today requires creativity, innovation, and practicality. Proven instructional design methods combined with design thinking tools will allow attendees to visualize the current state of their L&D, utilize new tools to build learner-focused journeys, and continuously adapt to transform their organizations.

In this session, you will learn:

  • To visualize the current and potential future L&D landscape in a hybrid work environment
  • How to utilize current instructional design methods combined with design thinking tools to drive transformation
  • To build human-centric, learner-focused journeys to upskill/reskill people and the organization
  • Tools to use right away to start your organization's transformation towards performance, growth, and success in a hybrid work environment
