Creating immersive and engaging content is always a requirement from our customers and clients. Lately there has been a big push to adding a 3-D, AR, or VR component to our eLearning gamification approach. We needed an easy way to add these capabilities to our courses and tools.

In this session you'll explore the A-Frame web framework, an open-source, free resource that allows you build 360¬8, 3-D, AR, or VR interactions and content that works across desktop and mobile devices and most VR headsets.  We will go through how to get started using A-Frame, and how to use the framework and other libraries to build immersive interactive virtual experiences.

In this session, you will learn:

  • What A-Frame web framework is and  to get started
  • How to create simple 360¬8, VR, and AR interactions using A-Frame
  • How to use Glitch or a local development environment to preview your A-Frame projects
  • How to use A-Frame's built-in inspector to access and modify A-Frame entities right in your browser
