107 Designing for Augmented Reality
10:45 AM - 11:45 AM Wednesday, October 20
Augmented reality (AR) is growing as an important organizational learning solution. And as this immersive technology changes rapidly, the success of AR will be dictated by the ability to design effectively for its use. Designing for AR requires a different way of thinking, as it's most effective when used to integrate the physical context and digital world seamlessly in efforts to improve performance.
In this session, you'll learn tips and best practices for creating engaging and comfortable AR experiences. You'll learn what instructions to include before the experience, how to coach people to get started, and how to design the experience in ways to resolve problems. We'll discuss project management, prototyping, and ready-to-publish applications. You'll also leave with an AR example to edit and share with your team.
