Traditional eLearning authoring tools are hard to learn and challenging to use. Nowadays, almost everyone is watching online videos almost anywhere. Video is a very passive medium. Combine those three facts, and you’ll see why interactive video is entering the online learning market rapidly.

In this hands-on workshop, you will produce an interactive learning video from scratch. You will discover the whole process of storyboarding and scripting, filming, uploading, basic editing, and finally, video enrichment. You will leave this workshop having created a short interactive video, using skills that you can leverage in larger projects.

Note: This is not a full video-editing workshop; it will focus only on basic editing techniques, with a larger focus on video interactivity.

In this session, you will learn:

  • About the educational advantages of interactive video compared to both traditional video and other HTML5-based authoring tools
