Tara King

Director, Volvo Cars Performance Academy, Volvo Cars North America

Tara King is the director of the Volvo Cars Performance Academy with Volvo Cars North America and is responsible for commercial and technical training for all retailers in North America. She began her career with Volvo in 1999 and has held several leadership roles, most recently as a market manager in the southern region, where she worked directly with Volvo retailers on sales and aftersales targets, advertising strategy, and customer satisfaction improvements. Tara was recognized by Rolling Out magazine as an up-and-coming African-American entrepreneur.
