Kim Stewart

Chief Learning Officer, First Citizens Bank

Kim Stewart, chief learning officer for First Citizens Bank, provides strategic oversight of the bank’s learning and development and HR technology divisions. She began her career 19 years ago in the public school system as part of the inaugural class of North Carolina Teaching Fellow scholarship recipients. Kim migrated to corporate education in the mid-1990s, where she successfully married pedagogy and business acumen to create award-winning learning and development divisions across multiple corporations. Kim holds a BS degree in mathematics education from North Carolina State University, and certificates in training and development from ASTD and the University of North Carolina—Charlotte.
