Victoria J. Marsick, Ph.D.

Victoria Marsick holds a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of California - Berkeley and a M.P.A. in International Public Administration from Syracuse University. Victoria co-directs with Martha Gephart the J.M. Huber Institute for Learning in Organizations, consults with Partners for Learning and Leadership, and writes and speaks frequently about informal learning. Her publications include Informal and incidental learning with Karen Watkins, 1990; Informal learning on the job with Marie Volpe, 1999; the overview for Journal of Workplace Learning, 21, 4, 2009; a chapter with Karen Watkins, Marie Volpe, and Mary Callahan of Handbook of research on adult learning and development, 2009; and a chapter with Karen Watkins and Barbara Lovin of Elaborating professional practice, 2010.
