A recent Learning Guild report on instructional approaches showed that content curation is a popular alternative to, or supplement for, traditional learning experiences like classes and courses. The word “curation” in its broadest sense usually refers to managing the avalanche of information to which we’re all exposed every day. In Curation for Learning: Enhancing Our Work, Extending Our Reach, Jane Bozarth explains curation for learning and how it is intended to provide a robust experience for a learner either as standalone or in conjunction with other approaches such as a course.
