Creating interactions and animations in HTML5 is very complex. It requires an in-depth knowledge of JavaScript. There are other tools for creating HTML5 interactions that are fairly easy to use; however, you often lose the flexibility that you have when writing code.
In this session, you will learn about Adobe’s new application called Animate. You will see how this tool gives designers and developers the ability to quickly create HTML5 animations and interactions. The new art tools also make drawing much more robust, so even people with limited design skills can draw amazing backgrounds and scenes. This session will focus on having you create some simple animations and interactions, and it will end by showing you how to render the project files into a variety of different formats.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to define a project
- How to insert clip art
- How to draw on the stage using a variety of brushes
- How to render the project to a video or to a mobile device
- How to render the project to an HTML5 web page
Audience:
