For trainers or educators who need to stay relevant and maintain their creative edge, a fundamental knowledge of basic video production and editing is essential. Creating effective, professional-quality video training for delivery on multiple devices, including smartphones and tablets, presents a variety of design challenges that require specialized planning with attention to image composition, duration, script writing, recording methods, and editing techniques.
In this session, you’ll learn the basics of designing video training from concept to delivery. The session will cover how to choose and use the right audio and video hardware and editing software. It will also cover simple tips and techniques for planning, writing, composing, shooting, lighting, and using green screens for studio and field production to produce professional results on limited budgets, and how your video can be repurposed for web and broadcast delivery. This session may also fill in gaps you have when it comes to creating effective video specifically for training.
