Performance Support Symposium 2014 - September 9, 2014

Most performance improvement and learning takes place in the workplace, not in a classroom. As such, we need solutions that are immediately available. Smartphones are ideally suited to providing performance support to the office, sales floor, shop floor, or out in the field. Rather than mobile performance support being a nice-to-have, it is fast becoming a must-have solution for any organization wishing to stay ahead of the game. The problem is that many organizations are unsure of when they need performance support and how to design and implement it.

In this session participants will look at some best practices as well as innovative approaches to designing and developing mobile performance support solutions for organizations. You’ll look at where to start, what to consider, how to design, and the mistakes people make. You will discuss the important elements needed in order to create effective mobile performance support content. Participants will review demonstrations of cutting edge technologies for mobile performance support in both consumer and learning contexts.
