Developing eLearning is challenging. Part of the challenge comes with the tools that are used to build eLearning, many of which are expensive. Many instructional designers use a single tool—whether it’s the right tool or not—simply because it’s the only tool they have and it was expensive, leaving no budget for additional tools.
What many instructional designers fail to realize is that for every $1,500 tool, there’s a free or low-cost alternative that can do the job just as well. This session will cover free tools that are available today and have many of the capabilities of expensive applications that can decimate a budget. Participants in this session will learn about tools for multimedia development and web design and about complementary tools that developers often need, such as project management, office, and productivity software.
In this session, you will learn:
- Free tools that can be used for eLearning
- Free tools that can be used for web development
- Free tools for project management
- Free tools for productivity
Audience:
