The world has changed, and our understanding of how we think and work has similarly been revised.  The rate of change is accelerating, and learning professionals can no longer just plan, prepare, and execute; more nimbleness is needed. The way we solve problems in the world is not formal logic, and how we learn is much more contextual than we thought.  Similarly, innovation is not individual, and particular practices can foster better outcomes.  In short, the world of work is very different than we thought.  And yet our practices are still steeped in outdated models.

In this session, participants will explore the ways we really work and learn and understand how technology can foster better performance. You will learn how it is important to focus on performance, not on learning.  Participants will explore the need to support people in the moment and over time, and facilitate teams in problem-solving as well as supporting learning.  In this session, you will work through the elements that are on tap to help our organizations excel, and where technology can help.
