Often times, when we consider performance programs, we limit ourselves to thinking of traditional means of delivery. Be it stand-up training or an eLearning course, we tend to think of delivering large chunks of information and being bound in time and space. However, what if an employee’s entire environment was the training course? What if just-in-time delivery of performance support materials was only a scan away? With mobile devices becoming ever more ubiquitous, and mobile content creation tools becoming easy to use, it’s now easy to begin thinking, and creating, outside of the box.
In this session, you will explore how training professionals can leverage common mobile technologies and easy-to-use content creation software to quickly place bite-sized chunks of performance support materials in nearly any location. From ergonomic tips about your desk chair to medical device support for a customer you’ll see just how easy it is to quickly create and deploy mobile training materials.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to quickly create QR codes
- Considerations for rapid mobile design
- Cool industry ideas for a targeted training campaign
- Population demographic considerations for a targeted training
Audience:
Novice
designers and developers with an interest in quickly creating targeted mobile
content.
Technology discussed in this session:

codes, HTML5, and mini-courses designed for mobile delivery.
