Jane Bozarth’s work with state government brings her into frequent contact with workers at schools for the blind, schools for the deaf, vocational rehabilitation services, and facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities. For her, the idea of accessibility and accommodation is related to real individuals, not theoretical “users.”
In this session, you will confront the reality of workers facing accessibility-related challenges. You will examine the tools and aids they use to access eLearning and other learning materials. (Hint: You may be surprised.) You will leave this session understanding how to make content more accessible to all, not just the few.
